The premise

Delusion, here, is not a diagnosis. It is a method.

Decide what the ending looks like before there is any evidence for it. Then work until the evidence exists.

Zach is in his early twenties. He finished school in 2022, and most of what follows happened in the years since. None of it is finished, and none of it has been proven. This page is a record of the experiment, kept in public, so that reality rather than the prose decides whether he was right.

The record

Where he started, and what has happened so far.

  1. Redcliffe State High

    Class of ’22. A Digital Solutions classroom was where it clicked: not just how systems work, but that systems can be built to solve real problems. Zach left school with that idea and started applying it.

  2. RTM Group

    He started in software support. Then junior technical project management, connecting the work to its outcomes. Then account and business development, on the client side of the table. Three desks, one company, each a little further from the keyboard and a little closer to the decision.

  3. Queensland State Emergency Service

    Leading Field Operator. Deployed for Tropical Cyclones Jasper, Kirrily and Alfred, and for police searches in between. It is where he learned to decide quickly, with incomplete information, alongside people he trusts.

  4. In progress

    University of the Sunshine Coast

    A dual master’s: MBA and Master of International Business, studied while everything else was happening.

  5. Amolira Pty. Ltd.

    Zach registered a company in Brisbane with no outside capital, no clients and no product. Richard P. Campion joined as co-founder and chief technology officer. The plan was to build the instruments they would trade with, then trade with them. By any reasonable measure it was premature.

  6. Nexus, first commit

    The first of the instruments: a market terminal. A scaffold, a kernel, data providers and a chart engine on day one. A prediction engine, paper trading, and a ledger that scored every forecast against what actually happened by the end of day two.

  7. Nexus, documented

    The terminal got a public page. It is one of the few parts of this record a reader can check for themselves: amolira.com/nexus.

  8. Now

    Nexus is at version 0.9.13, in use inside Amolira, and one of several things being built. Two founders in Brisbane, and a company that still has no clients, because it was never going to. Whether any of it works is not yet known.

The venture

The current venture is Amolira.

Amolira is a private company in Brisbane. It sells nothing, has no customers, and is not looking for any. It builds its own trading systems and trades its own money with them. If the systems work, the company earns from the market. If they do not, it loses its own capital and nobody else’s.

Nexus, the market terminal, is one of several things it is building, and the one with a public page.

The ambition is delusional.The verification is not.

Inside Amolira, a forecast only counts if it was made before the outcome existed, and a result only counts after fees, slippage and the worst plausible fill. When the evidence does not clear the bar, the terminal prints

NO EDGE
DETECTED

in the largest type on the screen.

Whether the systems have an edge is not yet known. That is what the next few years are for.
